LOGO Bingo

Boards ready, ears open. eyes down, let’s get ready to play that classic game of Bingo! But wait, our bingo boards are faulty – they have no numbers on them! How are we going to call a line, a full house, four corners or BINGO? Welcome to LOGO Bingo from Drumond Park. Bingo with a slight difference. Yes, the numbers have gone, but they have been replaced with some of the world’s most recognisable brand logos, including Haribo, Flumps, Jelly Belly and Red Bull.

LOGO Bingo is a game for 2-4 players, age 12 and upwards. But instead of numbers being called out for players to find and mark on their boards, the caller pulls out LOGO Bingo tokens featuring the logos of much-loved and recognised brands.

In the box:

  • 4 Player / Caller Boards
  • Caller Box
  • Score Pad
  • Pencil
  • 4 Sets of 39 LOGO Tokens
  • Rules / Instructions

Everybody knows how to play Housey-Housey, or rather, Bingo. Random numbers are called out and players mark them off on their boards to complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, four corners or a full house (board full). LOGO Bingo is played the same way, just with no numbers and using brand logos instead.

In LOGO Bingo, each player takes a different colour double-sided board; green, purple, red or yellow and their 39 LOGO tokens. Choose a player to be the caller for that round, the caller will change with each round. The caller uses the Caller side of their playing board whilst the players use the Player side. The Caller places their LOGO tokens in the Call Box (this is a cardboard box that will need assembling, it only takes a minute). The players take 25 of their 39 tokens to play with and place them on the spaces on their boards, logo side up.

To play, the Caller puts their hand into the Caller Box and removes a token and calls it out, for example Haribo (hopefully in a child-like voice as in the Haribo adverts), and shows it to the other players. Any player that has it on their board flips the token over so that it just shows the coloured side (that matches their board colour). The Caller places this token on the first space (no 1) on their Caller board. Play continues until a player shouts BINGO or FULL HOUSE!

A player can call BINGO when they have flipped over a set of tokens from their board in one of the following ways:

  • Any vertical or horizontal line of five that does not include the centre space scores 100 points.
  • A vertical, horizontal or diagonal line of five that does include the centre space scores 110 points.
  • All four corners scores 110 points.

The first player to have flipped over all of their 25 tokens shouts out ‘FULL HOUSE’, winning the round and scoring 120 points which are also added to the scoresheet. In the event that two or more players shout for a Full House at the same time, once verified, the 120 points are divided between the winning players.

The player with the most points wins that round. The Caller will then change for the next round. After an agreed number of rounds (if four players, four rounds so that everybody has a turn at being the Caller), scores are added up, marked on the included score pad and the player with the most points is the overall winner.

Overall, the is a simple game that is fun for friends and family, children and adults to play together. Easy to play, looking out for your favourite brands.

Game play is simple and quick and you can add in a bit more fun as the Caller by adding in the Brand’s tagline (if you know it) when calling the token out, for example “Ba-Ba-Ba, Ba-Babybel®”! or the child-like voice of Haribo.

And don’t worry about having to be able to recognise Brand logos, the Caller places them on their board for everyone to see, so if you don’t know if you’ve been Tango’d, just look at the Callers board and then see if you have a matching logo token.

LOGO Bingo is a fun, addictive and competitive game that is perfect for game nights. It is quick and easy to play, rules are simple and you will have lots of fun and laughs whilst playing.
